Parent Involvement

Parents are a crucial element in the success of Redwood Prep. Redwood Preparatory Charter encourages all families to actively participate in school operations. In a research article published by the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory in 2002, A New Wave of Evidence: The Impact of School, Family and Community Connections on Student Achievement, students with involved parents earn higher test scores, have better social skills, and often graduate and go on to post-secondary education.

It is essential to the success of our school that we provide many opportunities for families to join together socially. RPrep frequently sponsors events that provide opportunities for our families to join together in the name of fun! Redwood Prep facilitates family gatherings to watch movies, play games, eat food, and enjoy the company of our school community members.
