As our student population increases in size and age, student input in school activities, policies, and procedures becomes more important. With the addition of a 7th grade class, Redwood Prep will institute a Student Council to ensure that student ideas, concerns, and voices are included in the decision making processes which directly affect them.

Students will nominate and elect semi-annually, from the student body, a Student Council, comprised of representatives from each upper-grade classroom of the school. The Student Council will hold the authority to place items on the staff meeting agendas and, to make recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Student Council will meet monthly under the guidance of a Redwood Prep staff member in order to organize and carry out projects which benefit the students and the school.
